Most of you have been diligent, but there are some mistakes. I'd like for each of our authors to set aside a few minutes this weekend to go back and check ALL of your fic entries. If you have been using BOTH a word count tag AND a series tag (to quote lolcat)...U R DOIN IT RONG.

Word count tags are for STAND-ALONE WORKS ONLY.

If your piece starts out stand-alone, and then you write another chapter...go back and edit the tags, please.

It wouldn't be a big deal but when a comm member only has 20 minutes to sit, enjoy a cup of [insert liquid refreshment here] and indulge themselves in a short, 1000 word piece--it sucks majorly to find out that the first eleventy billion listed are only the initial installments of a googleplex epic.

Yes, said comm member in this case is me...but don't pretend it hasn't happened to you, too.

Also, please use the intro/header listed on the profile page. A title and summary is just not enough, because (again with the personal reference) accidentally reading a Rayne-fic that turns into a Mal/River (*squick*) fic is enough to make me gouge out my eyes. With a spork. A broken one.

(No offense to those of you who like it. Most of you know I don't and--like many others here--avoid it like the PLAGUE.)

Okay, so after lengthy discussions about Chaos Is Come Again (see previous entry) I now have a better understanding of my reaction to it, and a better understanding of other people's reactions to it, and actually feel like I learned a few things.

And, I've written about 2700  words of Chapter 56 (as yet untitled) of CoMC and am feeling a little better about that.

OMG DR. HORRIBLE, EEEEEEEEEEE!!! I can't wait for the finale. I'm on like, pins and needles. If it ends up on DVD with a soundtrack and everything, I'm afraid I'll expire of squee. And best line: ( Spoiler )


But enough of that: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DAAAAAAAAAAAAANCE?!!! They had everyone switch partners which they threatened they'd do in the promos but for some reason I thought they wouldn't really do it. And then they did it! D: I was thrown off my groove for the first half of the show and it didn't help that the all-new couples were struggling. But then everyone started rocking and here's my FAVORITE DANCE of the episode! Hip hop!!

Chaos Is Come Again might be an appropriate subject header for my life in general, but actually it's the title of an incredibly smart, well-written SS/HG fic.  I was in the middle of reading it when I recced it on Potter Place, and somebody else responded later that they'd started it and were loving it, too.

There is a problem with reccing something before you get to the end.

I hate doing anything spoilery so didn't say anything else about it on Potter Place, but wanted to talk about this fic, and so the rest of this is going behind LJ cut.

Does that mean that stuff that is flocked also shows up when people click on "friends?"
